She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Hayes and Willie B. Matthews; her husband Napoleon Alexander Jr.; and her brothers, Larry Miller, John Hayes and Kent "Weedee" Hayes.

She is survived by: her children, Jettie and Napoleon Alexander III (Brandi Alexander); her siblings, Kenneth "Possie" Hayes, Darnell McCoy (Carla Houston), Joan Cobbs (Arthur Cobbs), Carthine Riley (Willie "Noonie" Riley) and Darlene McCoy; her daughters, Latonya Alexander and Tammy Alexander; her grandchildren, Kenra Roy, Kenjames Roy, Kensharie Roy, Robert Keith Alexander, Morris Alexander Campbell, Daisharr Alexander, Thai Brown Alexander, Sharr Daijah Alexander, Queen Bell Alexander, Napoleon Alexander IV, Zion Shalom Alexander, Omega Alexander, Tierica Dixon, Terico Alexander, Destiny McCoy and Malachi McCoy; and her great grandchildren, Bentley McCoy and Mekhi Lucus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Preferred Cremation and Burial Chapel (6406 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115).
