It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Joseph Yakatan (San Diego, California), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bella Yakatan and Nathan Yakatan. He is survived by: his wife Una; his children, Nicole (Steven Hamberg) and Brook (Ellie); his grandchildren, Gus and Abria Hamberg; his sister Beverly Y Cohen (Jim Walsh); and his sister-in-law Debra Lyman. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, colleagues, and friends.
