It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaines Eugene Wilson (San Diego, California), who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Sr. and Dewey Wilson, Sr.; and his siblings, Donald Ray Wilson, Annie Wilson, Idasay Freeney and Willie Jean Richardson.
He is survived by: his son Demetrius Wilson of Texas; and his brothers, Jimmy Wilson of Texas and Dewey Wilson, Jr. of Colorado. He is also survived by eleven nieces; and eight nephews survive him; a host of cousins, and friends.
