She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Douglas S. Bruce; and her siblings, Anna Margaret Watson, Robert Long, Carroll Long and Helen Long Frank.

She is survived by: her sister Lois L. Driver of Fairfax, VA.; and her children, Dr. Gregory S. Bruce (Sandy), T. Stefan Bruce, Gwen Bruce Moore (Curtis Moore) and Patti Bruce Hunter (Ned Hunter). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces, nephews and extended family.
