She is survived by: her husband Sammie Young of Northport; her brother Delevain Whitehurst, Jr. (Melanie) of Lemon Grove; her grandchildren, La'shun Lee Young, Lamarion Lee Young of Columbus and Trinity Whitehurst of San Diego; her nieces and nephews, Delevina Whitehurst of Los Angeles, Delevain Whitehurst and Savannah Whitehurst of Lemon Grove; her father Delevain Whitehurst, Sr. (Rose) of Norfolk, VA.; and her friends, Gwen of Tuscaloosa, Rose and JJ of Montgomery.
