He was predeceased by: his father Paul Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Brooks; his sisters, Kristie, Kim and Kerri; his wife Erika Lidstrom Brooks; his brothers-in-law, Ryan and Eric; his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Maggie, Nate, Ava, Jojo, Alex and Norah; his godchildren, Jojo and Quinn Duarte; his son Bostonian; and his brother San Diego. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Dan's memory to Chelmsford Youth Baseball, PO Box 62, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
