He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughters, Susan Schmitz (Steve) and Christine; his grandchildren, Todd Schmitz and Traci Prater (Danny); and his great grandchildren, Kalissa Schmitz, Colby Schmitz, Tyler Schmitz, Ashton Prater, Olivia Prater and Braden Prater.
