“”Uncle Clarence” has been in my life since I was born in 1971. In the 60’s he visited Sweden and met my mother who was a hot 18 year old, already engaged with my father. Ever since then he has been sending gifts to me and my siblings yearly. Chocolate eggs on easter and strange nuts every christmas. In the 90’s I visited him in San Diego and he guided me to every tourist attraction in the city. A very loving man. My best love to him. /Susanne Björling Appelvang”

WE HAD NO IDEA THAT HE HAD PASSED AWAY IN 2022, IN FACT WE SENT HIM A CHRISTMAS CARD THIS YEAR AND DID NOT GET IT RETURNED. “Clarence was a very kind and generous man. He loved and knew lot of history, particularly military history. He loved animals and liked to feed the birds, cats and just about any critters around his property. He was very lucky to have Angela as his close friend who was there for him and helped him through his past few years. We were friends for 30 years and I will really miss him. Now he will join his parents and friends that have passed but he will always renain in my heart.”
