We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2023, at the age of 81, Charles William Wafer (San Diego, California), born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leotta and Okla Leotta (Andy). He is survived by: his sister Carol Sue; his wife Joani; his children, Debbie, Steve, Nicole, Jarryd, Christina and Patrick; his grandchildren, Jessica and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Jamie and Lizzy.

There is not much research or funding for CAA and currently there is no treatment, so if you want to make donations in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: Massachusetts General Hospital for Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy Research.
