He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Oscar Mason and Mary Louise Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Lorane Avritt; his sons, Matthew and Daniel; his daughters-in-law, Sara and Mari; his grandchildren, Andrew Mason, Abigail Mason and Danielle Nunez; his great grandchildren, Matthew Mason and Robert Mason; his granddaughter Emiko Sellers; and his friend Bailey Vincent. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miramar National Cemetery (5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122).
