She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gerardus (Elisabeth Wubbolts) and Maria; her siblings, Angie, Tony, John, Benny and Anna; her husband Dick Vandermey; her children, Michelle and Richard; her children-in-law, Ben Gallardo and Sharon Vandermey; her grandchildren, Joe, Cody, Frankie, Megan, Kyle and Marissa; and her great grandchildren, Oscar, Avery, Max, Lennon and Nolan.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lesneski Mortuary (640 S El Camino Real, San Clemente, CA 92672).
