He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Aguilar and Angelita Aguilar; his brothers, Guadalupe, Jessie and Ruben; his wife Elvira Lucio Aguilar; his daughter Elma Olivarez (Fred); his stepchildren, Christopher Lucio (Mayra), Andrew Lucio (Monica) and Mary Varela (Robert); and his siblings, Alfredo Aguilar (Becky), Alicia Solis (Lino), Irma Deleon (Ray), Ida Reyes (Alfredo) and Luz Risinger-Rodriguez (Jerry).
