With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Peter Balestreri of San Carlos, California, born in San Francisco, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Rosario Balestreri and Palmira Mary Micheletti. He is survived by: his wife Diana Sue Balestreri of Paul's Church; his children, Monica Balestreri Walsh and Michael Robert Balestreri; his children-in-law, Tara Jaramillo Balestreri and Stephen Patrick Walsh; and his grandsons, Sean Michael Walsh, Anthony Lucca Walsh, Dominic Michael Balestreri and Luke Charles Balestreri. He is also survived by extended family and so many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel (1111 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA 94002). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (880 Tamarack Ave, San Carlos, CA 94070). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Mission Rd, Daly City, CA 94014).
Flowers can be ordered from Granaras in San Carlos or Edmunds in San Mateo and the family asks that donations be made in his name to the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center for Lymphoma Research.
