ROBERT ELMER LOBO

ROBERT ENTERED INTO LIFE TO MR. JOHN A. & RACHEL G. LOBO ON JUNE 6, 1931 & ENTERED INTO DEATH AT AGE 91 ON DECEMBER 15, 2022 IN HIGHLAND CALIFORNIA.
MR LOBO and HIS FAMILY ARE PIONEERS AND ONE OF THE FIRST DESCENDANT FAMILIES OF CHINO CALIFORNIA. ROBERT HAS BEEN A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF CHINO and RECIEVED HIS EDUCATION WITH THE CHINO JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT.
AFTER COMPLETING SCHOOL, ROBERT ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY, WHERE HE BECAME A SARGEANT TECHNICIAN AS WELL AS A PARATROOPER and ROBERT WAS AWARDED WITH AN ARMY OF OCCUPATION MEDAL PIN. SHORTLY THEREAFTER HE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED. AFTER THE ARMY ROBERT HELD A NUMBER OF IMPORTANT JOBS. NOT ONLY WAS HE A SON, HUSBAND, FATHER, BROTHER, NEPHEW and COUSIN HE
WAS A VERY HARD WORKER. HE WORKED AT KAISER STEEL IN FONTANA AS A TIN MILL MACHINIST, HE WORKED AT NORTON AIR FORCE BASE, B&A CONSTRUCTION, ZURAN ENGINEERING, FOR 19 YEARS HE WAS EMPLOYED BY THE CITY OF CHINO WATER DEPARTMENT. VICH'S FINAL JOB WAS WORKING SIDE BY SIDE WITH HIS SON MANDO AT THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOREST SERVICE AS A CONTRACT EMPLOYEE.
HE ENJOYED LIFE, HIS FAMILY and RIDING HIS HARLEY. ROBERT WAS VERY WELL KNOWN & LOVED THROUGHOUT HIS COMMUNITY. HE TOUCHED EVERYONE HE KNEW.
ROBERT IS SURVIVED BY HIS DAUGHTER CINDY CABELLERO; HIS SONS BUDDY, ARMANDO and JOHN.
SISTERS; BETTY GONZALES (TOJE), PRISCILLA ABILEZ (BOBBY), ARVILLA ALCALA (GILBERT) AND A BROTHER SAMMY LOBO (TERRI).
HE HAD MANY GRANDCHILDREN WHO WILL MISS HIM TERRIBLY.
ROBERT IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS JOHN & RACHEL LOBO, TWO SISTERS LYDIA RAMIREZ (ROBERT), GRACE PERCHEZ (FRED), TWO SONS MIKE & DUKEY. HIS WIFE SANTOS GONZALES -MURILLO LOBO & HIS PREVIOUS WIFE PAULINE HERNANDEZ.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2023 AT 10:00 A.M. AT THE LIVING WORLD CHURCH LOCATED AT 1187 TELEPHONE AVE. CHINO, CALIFORNIA 91710 & RECEPTION TO FOLLOW AT THE AMERICAN LEGION POST #299 FROM 12:00 - 4:00 LOCATED AT 13759 CENTRAL AVE. CHINO, CALIFORNIA 91710
ROBERT WILL ARRIVE AT HIS FINAL RESTING PLACE BESIDE HIS WIFE SANTOS
