He is survived by: his wife Janet Gravley Sutherland; and his children, Debbie Porter (Clay) of Phoenix, AZ, Dawn Nelson (Clark) of Everett, WA, Dave Sutherland (Lisa) of Trabuco Canyon, CA and Dan Sutherland (Michele) of San Clemente, CA..
