With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Thelma Schmitz (San Bernardino, California), who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewis Stones and Marjorie Schmitz; her daughter Terry Schmitz; her brothers, Nelson Bertram and Richard Bertram (Valentina); her adoptive father Michael Noriega; her son Pete; her grandchildren, Libby, Chase and Jen Haro; her great grandchildren, AJ and Charlet; and also, Maggie Noriega, Miley, Melanie, Eric, Judy Noriega, Matthew, Amanda, Fernando Gamez and Leonardo. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was there for 10 years until the covid pandemic and was not able to return.
Per her request there will not be any services and in lew of flowers please donate to any Cancer foundations to help fight the thing that she couldn't fight.
