He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ludwig and Anna Ludwig; his wife Pearle Ludwig (Densmore); his siblings, Darwin Ludwig, Bill Ludwig and Donna; his brother-in-law Marvin Thygesen; his niece Teresa Boysen; and his friends, Tom and Olga Keating.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Nadine Ludwig and Jan Ludwig. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
