He was predeceased by: his former wife Sophie Blythe; and his mother Ruth Blythe (Cawfield). He is survived by: his father Richard Blythe; his sister Cleo; his spouse Midge; his children, Johnny, Jimmy and Linda; and also Susie. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
