He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gallagher and Jennie Gallagher; and his siblings, Eileen Kearney, John Gallagher and Nancy Gallagher.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Gallagher; his stepdaughters, Stacy Spaniolo and Kristan Spaniolo-Ellis; and his niece Mary Dignam. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
