He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Arne Erickson; his wife Grace; his children, Theresa Hawken (Hil) of San Anselmo and John Komo III (late Betsey, Nan); and his sisters, Sarah and Betty. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
