“Oh dear Nancy, Eileen, Kathy, and Marie, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Doc. Doc held a special place in my heart. When your mother died, Doc and Marie came to our house in Ventnor for the summer and I took them to the beach every day. Doc related to me not so long ago that the McCarty cousins who were also summering in Ventnor a block away from our house took him under their wings and showed him the good things about a Ventnor summer. He truly valued those days.”
