The memory of Thomas Joseph Sweeney of Salinas, California, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 62, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sweeney and Mary Lou Sweeney; and his siblings, Bernadette Sweeney, Mary Francis Sweeney and Joseph Sweeney.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Philbin; and his nieces and nephews, Monica Dacpano, Maria Arroyo, Fidel "Eddie" Arroyo (Kasandra), Vince Arroyo and Jeremy Philbin. He is also survived by five grandnieces and three grandnephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alta Vista Mortuary (41 E Alisal St, Salinas, CA 93901). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church (320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA 93907).
