It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sumiko Ichiuji (Salinas, California), who passed away at the age of 97, on December 29, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Sumiko departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sumiko. Though Sumiko may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Nakagawa and Kiyoko Nakagawa. She is survived by: her husband Paul Ichiuji; and her children, Arnold Ichiuji and Alyson Tonomura. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Ave Presbyterian Church (536 Lincoln Ave, Salinas, CA 93901).
