It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olivia Martinez Ravan of Salinas, California, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Josselyn Grace Giebeler; her parents, Matias Valdez and Antonia Valdez; and her siblings, Frank Valdez, Nick Valdez, Inez Jaime and Irma Martinez.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Ravan (Eileen) of Stafford, VA, Judi Giebeler (Adam) of Charlotte, NC and Caroline Benetti (Giulio) of Pacific Grove, CA.; her grandchildren, Tyler Ravan, Loren Ravan and Ashley Venzon; and her siblings, Andrew Valdez (Janie), Yolanda Mata (Albert), Chris Valdez, Martha Martinez, Elva Valdez and Lupe Meza.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made in her honor to the Confidence Pregnancy Center in Salinas.
