It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Annette Mairose (Salinas, California), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Mairose. She is survived by: her father Ronald Mairose; her siblings, Monica and Mark Mairose; her nieces and nephews, Thomas, Hayden, Joshua Cantrell, Jonathan Cantrell, Daneille Scott, Aaralyn Saunders, Bennett Cantrell, Tiffany Cantrell, Austin Veerkamp, Angel Mae Rose Veerkamp, Amanda and Brittinee Mairose; and her family, Gina, Paul Miller, Elizabeth, Edgar, Ensley, Addison Garcia, Megan Miller, Isaiah Suniga, Cindy and Chuck Cassinelli.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel (41 W San Luis St, Salinas, CA 93901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church (320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906). The inurnment will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA 93907).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Girls Inc. of the Central Coast, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donor's favorite charity in memory of Melissa.
