He is survived by: his niece Angela Hernandez; his wife Kathy; his children, Sam Garcia of Garcia Boxing and Melissa Garcia (Tony Lugo); his grandchildren, Sami, Skye, Tyra and Nate; his siblings, Olaya Hernandez, Lupe Rojo, Ninfa Corley, Beatrice Corley, Juan Garcia, Jose Garcia and Andres Garcia; his nieces and nephews, Isabel, Eva, Celina, Sandra, Chrissy, Tammy, Bridget, Marissa, Carissa, Alyssa, Maya, Gus, Andy, Eric, Max, Dominic, Greg, Mark, Mathew, Ben, Craig, Daniel, Blake and Ryan; his godchildren, Taylor Torres and Anthony Domanski; and his son Ruben Villa IV.
