He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Ana Hernandez; his parents, Frank Serrano and Felicita Morales; his sister Myrna Serrano Aponte (Genaro); his niece Sophia Flowers (Quentin); and his nephew Sergio Aponte.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Melbourne Municipal Band.
