He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughter Nancy; his son-in-law Brian Hartmeier; his grandchildren, Katie, Matthew, Paul and Joseph Hartmeier; his brother Paul McCarthy; his nephew Tim McCarthy; and his nieces, Maureen McCarthy Behrens and Eileen McCarthy Harness.
