She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pedro Pillado and Luisa Serrano; her husband Roberto Gardea; her sons, Martin Gardea, Jesus Gardea (Lia), Roberto Gardea (Lilia), Oscar Gardea (Ruby) and Jacinto Gardea (Mercedes); and her sister Paula Pillado. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
