She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brockoff and Olga Brockoff; her siblings, Betty, Maxine, Lorraine, Jack and Arnold; and her grandson Jake.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Shortes; her children, Joey Shortes (Jenice), David Shortes (Regina), Cindy Shortes and Darren Shortes; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Bryan, Troy, Erika, Kristine and Jaymie. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
