Elvin Eugene Layne Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvin Eugene Layne (Salida, California), who passed away on January 17, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lou Kathryn; his parents, D. A. Layne and Mildred Layne; his sister Yvonne Lee; his sister-in-law Marie Plumlee (Issac); his great grandchild Layne Johnson; and also, Marvin and Alice Hamby.

He is survived by: his children, Danny (Marlys) of Turlock, Alan (Lynne) of Clovis, Kathy Thurman of Hughson and David (Shelley) of Tracy; his brothers, Larry (Elise) of Sanger and Gary (Olga) of Modesto; and his sister-in-law Velma (John).
