She is survived by: her children, James Richard Lytle, Mark Canales (Pam) of Austin, TX, Marta Canales of Walnut Creek, CA, Ana Canales (Bruce Streblow) of St. Helena, CA, Paul Canales (Mary) of Oakland, CA and Tina Canales (Greg Onken) of Berkeley, CA.; her grandchildren, Dagan Janev, Rob Canales, Adeliza Canales Grace, Sam Canales, Ben Canales, Ava Canales, Paloma Canales and Gigi Onken; her great grandchildren, Charlie Canales, Jane Canales, Tatjana Janev and Lucija Janev; her mother Nonna; and also Shirley.
The family requests that donations made in memory of Shirley be sent to the Cardinal Newman Library at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center; Collabria Hospice in Napa, CA; or the donor's favorite charity.
