He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Buhler and O. Wayne Day, Sr.; his daughter Amla; his stepdaughter Brianna; his brother Ivan; and also, Bonnie and Jewel.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bowns; his children, Amron (Leslie), Leeman (Marjean), Nathaniel (Valerie), Shane (Jennifer), Melanie Roberts (Jon), Kenra Gill (Shaun) and Carolani Green (Mathew); his stepchildren, Dania Smith (Quin) and Keely Dorran; and his siblings, Orville, Karen Carbajal, Paul, Clark, Ruth Huish, Joy Ruff, Lynn and Eugene. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Day Meadows Chapel (6050 W, Highland, UT 84003). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
