He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wong; his children, Kathy Vuong Tran, Karl Vuong Tran (Tracy Tran), Khanh Tran (Anh Phu) and Loi Tran (Tung Le); his grandchildren, Evan Tran, Evette Tran, Phong Tran (Suong Nguyen), Phuong Tran, Tam Le and Tri Le; his siblings, Trần Thị Thể, Trần Chí Thiện and Trần Thị Ngọc Thanh; his child Younger; and his siblings, Trần Ngọc Thảo and Trần Thị Ngọc Thuận.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacramento Memorial (6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95824).
