He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Rhodes and Minnie Lee Shepherd. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Lynn Shepherd, Stephen Michael Shepherd, Kim Taggart and Melanie Lee Maes; and his sisters, Betty Sue Clark, Jo Ann Griffin, Margaret Jean Owens and Francis Rey Smith.
