It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Masanao Okamoto (Sacramento, California), born in Salinas, California, who passed away on November 12, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Uichi, Yoshinao, Yukinao, Tadanao and Sadako Russell; and his daughter-in-law Marie Elizabeth Okamoto.
He is survived by: his wife Fusako; his children, Mike Okamoto, Gary Okamoto (Sharon) and Ruby Gotow (Gary); his grandsons, Garret, Kyle, Ryan, Nicholas and Alexander; his brother Michinao Okamoto (Ginny); and his sisters-in-law, Jean and Betty Okamoto. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
