He is survived by: his siblings, Oscar Madrillejos of Cabolutan, Romblon, Cesar Madrillejos Sr. of San Francisco, Aida Madrillejos of San Francisco and Faye Balingit of Sacramento. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, his extended family, and his many friends.
John attended Tejeros Elementary School in Barangay Carmona, Makati City and started High School at Foundation College in Santa Ana, Manila, and Finished High School at Balboa High School in San Francisco, CA.
