He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nicholas and Josephine Nicholas; his wife Linda; his brothers, James Jr. and David Nicholas; and his brothers-in-law, Ed, Ted Heston and Pinky Shay.
He is survived by: his children, David (Stefanie), Don (Erica), Dan (Michelle) and Debbie Crump (Tal); his grandchildren, Taylor O'Neill (Jack), Mason Crump, Heston Nicholas, Bronson Nicholas, Madison Nicholas and Morgan Nicholas; his sisters, Nickie Nicholas and Joann Shay; and his sisters-in-law, Bertie Nicholas and Nancy Heston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and cherished friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Lawn (9189 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (8720 Florin Rd, Sacramento, CA 95828). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the East Lawn (9189 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624).
