Though Jewel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jewel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Luthold and Edith Luthold; her daughters, Elizabeth Giordanella, Anne McElhaney and Deanna Prater; and her sister Sharon Blaettler.
She is survived by: her husband Haskell Steelman; her daughters, Terry Brown (David) and Kathy Bird (Duane); and her sister Marie Zenor. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ramsey Funeral Home (1175 Robinson St, Oroville, CA 95965).
