We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2019, at the age of 82, James John Stark (Sacramento, California), born in Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonilla Stark and Theophilus 'Ted' Stark; his wife Betty; his daughter Laura Smith; his grandson Michael Smith; and his siblings, Waunita Mulvehill, Myrtis Lambert, Dean Stark and Neal Stark.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Tholcke (Stephen) of Sacramento, Patrick (Audrey) of Long Beach, Randy of Sacramento, Rhonda DiGrande (David) of Rocklin and Jamie (Erin Reid); his child-in-law Guy Smith of Bremerton, WA.; his grandsons, Joel (Jackie), Joshua (Brielle), Nathanael (Sara), Nahum Smith, Garrett Stark, Bryant, Eric Stark, Derek, Ryan DiGrande, Liam and Declan Stark; his great grandchild Alizée Smith; and his brother Roger Stark (Donna). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
