“What a dear man and a bright light with his good cheer and perpetual grin. I got to know Jack some in the time he lived down the hall from my mother Ella at Eskaton Village (ALU). Jack well represented "The Greatest Generation"-- I was glad to have opportunity to thank him for his military service in such a treacherous time. He was a fun, life-loving guy with rarely a complaint. I will carry enduring memories of our delightful times of teasing each other and sharing glad-to-see-you hugs.”
