With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Wayne Heimlich in Sacramento, California, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Heimlich and Lulu Heimlich; his wife Jan Heimlich; and his siblings, Charlie, Kenny, Jerry and Delpha.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Sweeney (Dennis), David Heimlich (Patti), Mark Heimlich and Karen Richards (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Traci Feaster (Matt), Valerie Stewart (Ryan), Kelly Munroe (Chris), Brian Richards (Tyler) and Derek Richards.

He mowed the church lawn, organized church activities, ran charity drives, and happily did anything else he could to help his church and its congregation.
