We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2024, at the age of 86, Barbara Clarissa Henderson of Sacramento, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Thomas C. Jackson and Josephine P. Jackson; and her siblings, Viola Jackson, Lucille Johnson, Marie Jackson, Thomas H. Jackson, Elwood Carter Jackson, Oswald Jackson, Tacoma Payne, Otas J. Hubbard and Irma Carey.
She is survived by: her husband Felix E. Henderson Jr. of Los Angeles, California.; her children, Eugene B. Herbert of Puyallup, Washington, Eric P. Herbert of Denver, Colorado, Everett A. Herbert and E. Mary Herbert of San Leandro, California; and her siblings, Susie Day of White Post, VA and Lloyd Jackson (Lucy) of Washington, D. C.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, Inc. (232 E Fairfax Ln, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
