It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrie Simmons (Royal Oaks, California), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kiyoji Kayama and Fumiko Kayama; her sons, Tom Simmons (GeriAnne) of Royal Oaks and Bobby Simmons of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Adam Simmons (Texas), Gregory Simmons of Mill Valley, CA and Nikole Simmons (North Carolina); and her former husband Henry Simmons of Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Watsonville Buddhist Temple or to Hospice of Santa Cruz County.
