Ashlie Renee (Rosenberg) Mumma Obituary
Ashlie Renee Mumma, 31, of Roseville, CA was called home by the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on October 30, 2020 while surrounded by loved ones in Cave Creek, AZ.
Ashlie was born in Phoenix, AZ on June 12, 1989. She is survived by her Godly husband, Ryan Mumma; her nine-year-old son Diesel Mumma; her parents Jay and Tammie Rosenberg; and her siblings Jadie, Maddie, RJ, and Tuscanie.
Ashlie attended Centennial High school and graduated in 2007. She was an exceptional softball player and received many recognitions such as: All-Region (2005, 2006, 2007), Regions MVP (2006), All-State Pitcher (2005), Shortstop (2006 and 2007), and Fresno State Division 1 WAC.
Ashlie’s desire was always to have her own family and in 2011, she found her way to Roseville, CA where she got to fulfill that dream. Being a wife to Ryan and a mom to Diesel, AKA D Bug, was truly what brought her joy. Whether it was watching D Bug race BMX, play ball, or practice Jiu Jitsu she was always present. If you are one of the lucky ones, you even got to hear her holler while cheering him on.
One of the most significant steps Ashlie took was accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior in November of 2011. On September 29, 2019, she rededicated her life to God when she was baptized. Ashlie loved serving at Bridgeway Christian Church, her home church, specifically in the Camp Kidsway. Shortly after Ashlie’s baptism, Ryan proposed, and they became a union with Christ on January 10, 2020.
Ashlie always let her light shine bright. You could always see God’s love pouring from her and her smile is one we won’t soon forget. She was a disciple of Christ and her testimony will forever live on. She will be remembered as being a child of God, a devout wife, and a wonderful mother.
Ashlie’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM. The service will be held at Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) at 15025 19th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85023. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to Camp Kidsway and sent via the text-to-give that has been set up. If you wish to donate, please text to 77977 BCCMemories or BCC Memories.
