He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Nishitsuji and Tomi Nishitsuji; his brother-in-law Pat Adachi; his mother-in-law Kiyomi Kamei; and his brother-in-law Steve Higashi.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Machi Kamei; his father-in-law Katsuya Kamei; his sisters-in-law, Michi Higashi, Emi Kusumi (Glenn) and Cathy Okita (David); his nephew Michael Okita; his nieces, Randi Umemoto (Logan) and Jennifer Hatanaka (Buen); his great-niece Lily Hatanaka; his sister Shirley Adachi; his nephews, Patrick (Jaclyn) and Brandon Adachi (Erica); his great-nephews, Andrew, Matias and Milo Adachi; and his great-niece Emily Adachi. He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Los Angeles Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (815 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012).
