He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Pedersen and Mary Ann Pedersen of San Francisco; and his brother Richard Pedersen. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Tennant Pedersen, Norman and David Pedersen; his wife Cheryl "Miller" Pedersen; his sons, William, Richard, John, Michael and Joseph; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Corina, Dominic, Grace, Connor, Talia, Kieran, Will, Joseph and Alyssa.
