He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Prichard Clayton and Gilbert Clayton; his sister Margaret Clayton Ahern; and also Ervan Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Frances Zmerzlikar Clayton; and his children, Yvonne Clayton, Lynnette Blakemore and Gilbert Clayton, Jr.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
The family requests that any donations be made to St. Jude's or Salvation Army.
