He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Henry Damm and Hilda Kulju Damm; his aunts and uncles, John, Ilie Parkinson, Parlier and Fresno; his sister-in-law Nina Skaggs; his former spouse Chris Alexander; and his wife Elizabeth Hatten (Bitsy).
Marvin lived with his uncle and aunt, John and Ilie Parkinson, in Reedley and Parlier, just south of Fresno, where he attended Washington Elementary School and Reedley High School (Class of '57).
