She was predeceased by: her parents, Jutaro Horikawa and Mashi Horikawa (Hayami); and her siblings, Jack Horikawa, Henry Horikawa, Ruth Minato, Mina Goto and Jane Murakami (Joey Kumagai).
She is survived by: her husband Joey Yasuo Kumagai; her children, Nancy Ann Kumagai Belford (Thom) and Paul Wayne Kumagai (Dena); her grandsons, T. Andrew Belford, Kyle Anson Belford and Christopher Joseph "C. J."; and her great grandchildren, Alexander Makoto Belford, Nicholas Akira Belford and Canon Israel Salas-Belford.
